Tips on Improving DSLR skill 1

1. You have to communicate -You have to get your ideas across to the model, so you can
execute the concept you had in mind, and you have to establish a rapport

2. Be confident, and if you're not really feeling confident don't show it- if you're screwing up don't show it. Dont let the model start worrying that she's screwing up because then she'll also got stiff.

3. Analyze shot before taking it - Take note of what your model is wearing. What emotion you want her to portray, and how your background helps your concept

4. Understand Fashion - familiarize yourself with fashion by reading books and magazines

5. If you're tired don't show it.

6. Study Poses - Be able to do them yourself so you can show your model what you want. You may feel striking pose but its often times easier to show a model how to pose by showing the pose yourself

7. Make sure your model stays in good mood. Don't let her get to the point where she feels she's starving because that will affect her performance

8. Set up lights before calling in the model.

Stock Photography

There are a few ways. The easiest is to set up an "online store" on a photography site that sells artwork. I have posted mine on this website:
imagekind.com.

if you want to see what it looks like. just visit imagekind.com
the good thing about this one, you can post whatever pictures you want and set whatever prices you want. The bad thing is you have to pay for them to host your photo store. They are primarily trying to sell pictures to people looking to decorate their house.

Another way is to try to submit you pictures to a "stock photo" agency. These agencies sell images to graphic designers for advertisements and magazines. I have a few pictures being represented by istockphoto.com.

The good thing is that its free for you and they are really trying hard to sell your pictures. I've sold around 60 pictures this way. The bad thing is that they give you a very very low percentage of the sale, something like 10 cents US. Also they are very picky about the pictures they accept.

Here are some photo Agencies try to visit them

Visiting Intramuros Philippines

Intramuros, located along the southern bank of the Pasig River, was built by the Spaniards in the 16th century and is the oldest district of the city of Manila, the capital of the Philippines. Its name, in Latin, intramuros, literally "within the walls", meaning within the wall enclosure of the city/fortress, also describes its structure as it is surrounded by thick, high walls and moats. During the Spanish colonial period, Intramuros was considered Manila itself.

Boracay Philippines

Boracay is one competitive venue for the Asian Windsurfing Tour, with the week-long Boracay International Funboard Cup competition usually being held on Bulabog Beach each January..

It was only in the 70s when, it is said, a foreign movie crew accidentally "discovered" this island paradise. Others maintain that it was the German traveler, 'Jens Peters' book, which included rave reviews of Boracay that changed the island’s pace from that of being a quiet secret to eventually being voted as having the best beach in the world.

Singapore Visit

creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. Its name combines "mer" meaning the sea and "lion". The fish body comes from Singapore's ancient name back when it was a fishing village — Temasek — meaning "sea town" in Javanese. The lion head represents Singapore's original name — Singapura — meaning "lion city" or "kota singa" in Sanskrit and Malay.
